Wow! Talk about quality customer service and honesty in a business! So…over the years, I’ve had Mike come out for repairs to my furnace, AC and hot water heater! He I was always knowledgeable, professional and honest! But today’s visit was incomparable! My condo unit had a dripping noise coming from behind my washing machine! I couldn’t see any water or anything dripping-just heard it from inside the wall! I was thinking mold, water damage, etc! I called multiple plumbers and they all started with “the first thing we will have to do is cut a whole in your wall!” and quoted (ridiculously high estimates) without even entering my home. Then I thought “Mike’s an HVAC guy…I wonder if he could help (I knew I could trust his honesty because of past experiences). Mike rearranged his schedule and came out within the hour! He immediately knew to check the AC unit (which was on a level above the washing machine). He tried two different tests to make sure the drip was from the AC unit/lo and behold-the drip was a normal, safe drip from the AC unit draining! He charged me only a reasonable service visit fee and was done in 20 minutes! If you want an honest, professional, who will take care of you (and not have you break the bank), Mike is your guy! I’ve already recommended him to so many friends, who are likewise thrilled with his service and prices!!!!

Michael was outstanding from start to finish. He repaired my heating system and also completed a new installation, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His workmanship was excellent, and he made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It's hard to find someone who is this reliable, honest, and dedicated to doing the job right. I highly recommend Michael to anyone who needs heating repairs or installation. Thank you for the excellent service!

I have used Protech Heating & Cooling for many years now for HVAC repair, maintenance, and new HVAC system installation and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the moment I called to schedule, Michael was professional, responsive, and transparent about pricing and timing. Michael arrived promptly, explained the issue clearly, and walked me through every step of the installation, diagnosis or repair. They were courteous, respectful of my home, and completed the work efficiently without cutting corners. All my systems are now running quieter and more efficiently than it has in years. What really set Protech Heating & Cooling apart was their honesty and expertise. There was no pressure to upsell unnecessary services—just straightforward, knowledgeable advice and fair pricing. They even took the time to share tips on maintaining my system between visits. In total, Michael has now installed a new Fujitsu mini-split with 5 zones ceiling cassettes for heating and cooling in my basement, a new 1.5 ton Goodman AC and furnace for my first floor, and a 4.5 ton Goodman AC and furnace for my second and third floor. For the second floor, Michael also split the system for me into two zones. He installed new duct work, a Honeywell TrueZONE controller, Honeywell True ZONE damper switches and a new NEST Thermostat. Since the installations, I have not had any issues and use Protech Heating & Cooling for the annual maintenance to make sure everything is still operating smoothly. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy HVAC contractor, I can’t recommend Protech Heating & Cooling highly enough. Five stars all around!
